* at Tampa Bay 2, Carolina 1: The Lightning has won three in a row after a six-game losing streak.
* Vancouver 5, at Nashville 2: Daniel Sedin scored two third-period goals and backup goalie Curtis Sanford made 26 saves.
* Pittsburgh 3, at Calgary 2: Defenseman Kris Letang scored in the fourth round of a shootout in Sidney Crosby’s first NHL game in Calgary.
