Just who are the dopes?

Two reasons why the terms “MLB player” and “doper” are now synonymous? Donald Fehr and Bud Selig, neither of whom curiously got much focus in the Mitchell Report. As long as Fehr hides behind civil liberties and Selig hides behind whatever is closest to him, alleged users will not only continue to sign multimillion-dollar contracts, but they will undoubtedly keep finding HGH and steroid combinations that stay ahead of the progress of testing methods. Nice to know nothing changes.

I am convinced Andy Pettitte used HGH only two times -- once from 2002-2004 and the other from 2005-2007.

I also figured out what HGH stands for -- hideously gigantic head.

After his latest defense inevitably falls through, I can’t wait for Roger Clemens to tell us that he didn’t knowingly take steroids, he thought his trainer was injecting him with the flu vaccine.

If the public is shrugging off the Mitchell Report because they are numb to all the steroid use, the real suckers are the players who didn’t cheat.

Mr. Plaschke and other media types are coming down on all players who are not coming forth admitting their steroid use. Bill says we need just one person to come forward to detail his drug use. We had one who did this and he was called a liar and a nut and was castigated by the media.

Does the name Jose Canseco ring a bell?
