Scores dead or missing in mudslides
From Times Wire Reports
At least 78 people were killed or feared dead in mudslides on the island of Java, Indonesian officials said.
Most victims were killed in a single slide in the Karanganyar district of central Java that buried a group of residents dining after cleaning up from a smaller landslide.
Hillsides collapsed onto houses and claimed victims in at least seven other places in the mountainous region, which had been lashed by torrential rain.
