Children’s Place may modify Disney accord

Children’s Place Retail Stores Inc. said it might be forced to modify its agreement with Walt Disney Co. to operate retail chains under the Disney Store name in North America.
Disney initiated the discussions, which may involve extensive renovations to recently remodeled Mickey Stores that may cost the retailer about $6 million in 2007, Children’s Place Chief Executive Ezra Dabah said.
