First-person look at life in Iraq
Re “The Iraqi insurgency hits home,” Feb. 14
Bravo for publishing the first-person account of Times interpreter Said Rifai and the results of the devastation we Americans have placed on the citizens of Iraq. I can only hope we shall read more pieces like this. Having lost friends to firing squads in Bosnia, I have great empathy for his family’s loss.
