Please grow up, Isaiah Washington
SO, Isaiah Washington has decided to play the race card to explain why he was fired from “Grey’s Anatomy” (“Fired Actor Speaks Out About Race,” June 30).
This only goes to show that Washington remains ignorant about the situation and why his remarks to his fellow cast member were so reprehensible.
It’s not because you’re black, it’s not because you’re drunk, or any of the countless other excuses that are offered by celebrities. It’s because you haven’t grown up and you haven’t learned that there are consequences to your behavior.
