Man arrested in death of 18-year-old

Police arrested a suspect in the abduction and death of a woman who disappeared from a department store parking lot.
Overland Park Police Chief John Douglass said 18-year-old Kelsey Smith’s body was found across the state line at a lake in Grandview, Mo.
The suspect was identified as Edwin R. Hall, 26, of Olathe. He was expected to be charged today with premeditated first-degree murder and aggravated kidnapping, Douglass said.
