Acoustic Eddie

Eddie Vedder didn’t just strum and run Saturday night at the Henry Fonda Theater. The Pearl Jam frontman played an acoustic set at Hullabaloo, an event that raised $220,000 for the Silverlake Conservatory of Music, then stayed at the club until 3 a.m., hanging around with fans. The fundraiser for the foundation, started by Flea to help give children access to instruments and music instruction, featured a set by his band, the Red Hot Chili Peppers (joined by Sex Pistol Steve Jones), and Vedder was joined onstage by Flea and original Chili Peppers drummer Jack Irons.

The only downside came when the party turned a little sloppy -- within a 45-minute period, I’d been spilled on, stepped on, stumbled into and groped by folks who didn’t know how to say when. But all’s well that ends well, as Circle Jerks drummer Kevin Fitzgerald rocked the rooftop after-party with vintage vinyl 45s.

Hiltons hit the Roxy

Heiress and jailbird-to-be Paris Hilton was seen at the Roxy on Monday night as she and sister Nicky took in a performance by Phantom Planet. And speaking of the Roxy, it’s stepping up its game with the launching of concert webcasts this summer and a new blog (which announced the departure of longtime booker Nikki Sweet, who’s being replaced by On the Rox talent buyer Megan Jacobs and Scott Reifman).... Don’t miss the Stoli Hotel on Monday night, which is hosting the first L.A. fashion show by Jovovich-Hawk, the upscale line co-designed by actress-model Milla Jovovich. The club, which has already hosted celebrity-drenched parties with DJ AM, Samantha Ronson and Danny Masterson, is only in town for two more weeks at 1555 Ivar St.... After a strong February debut, Made in Brazil returns to the Avalon on Saturday with the Brazilian trio Life Is a Loop.... Bolthouse Productions is hosting a party tonight for Q Models at Area on La Cienega Boulevard with DJ Frankie Inglese.

Charcoal on Sunset

Coming soon: On Tuesday, Michael Sutton and Adolfo Suaya gave friends an advance view of Charcoal, their new restaurant at the ArcLight Theatre complex at Sunset Boulevard and Ivar Avenue.... Johnny Knoxville showed up for his friend Loomis’ art opening at the Thought gallery -- the artist was serving Pop-Tarts to go with his Pop art.... We hear Star Shoes is shutting its doors in June and will be reopening under a new name and new ownership in the fall.... Lindsay Lohan, Jack Nicholson, Shirley MacLaine and Patricia Arquette have been hanging at Glow in Marina del Rey’s Marriott, where they are holed up working on a film.... 25 Degrees is now 24/7. The diner at the Hotel Roosevelt just opened round the clock.... And tonight, the Alliance and New York’s Strategic Group are kicking off the summer season at the hotel’s dishy poolside hang, the Tropicana, with the relaunching of the Bartles & James wine coolers. I think I’m already hung over.
