* at Florida 5, Philadelphia 3: Miguel Cabrera’s triple helped the Marlins rally in the sixth inning against Cole Hamels (6-2) to extend their winning streak to a season-high four games. Hamels had a 3-1 lead before allowing four runs in the sixth and failed in his bid to become the NL’s first seven-game winner. Cabrera had two hits and two RBIs and is batting six for eight lifetime against Hamels with four walks.

* at Atlanta 8, New York 1: Kyle Davies pitched eight strong innings and turned the game into a rout with a three-run homer in the sixth inning. Davies, who allowed six hits, had been 0 for 13 at the plate this season.

* at San Diego 5, Chicago 1: Jake Peavy (6-1) gave up one run in six innings and Mike Cameron hit two of the Padres’ four home runs. Peavy moved into a tie for the NL lead in wins and lowered his league-leading earned-run average to 1.63. Kevin Kouzmanoff and Adrian Gonzalez also homered.

* at San Francisco 4, Houston 2: Barry Bonds drew two more intentional walks and stayed at 745 home runs, and Ray Durham drove in runs after both free passes to Bonds. Giants rookie Tim Lincecum (2-0) struck out four and allowed two runs and five hits in his fourth major league start to beat Roy Oswalt (6-3) in their second meeting in six days.

* at St. Louis 9, Pittsburgh 4: Adam Wainwright worked out of almost constant trouble for 5 1/3 innings and hit a two-run double to help the Cardinals end a five-game losing streak.

* Colorado 3, at Arizona 1: Troy Tulowitzki hit a tiebreaking RBI double in the top of the ninth inning to lift the Rockies. Arizona’s Livan Hernandez gave up one run and nine hits in eight innings, striking out eight.

* Washington 8, at Cincinnati 4: Ken Griffey Jr. moved past Ernie Banks into 19th (1,637) on the RBI list in the loss.

* at Dodgers 3, Milwaukee 2: The Brewers’ Ben Sheets (4-3) had his three-game winning streak ended.
