McCormick to get Lawry’s Line

McCormick & Co. said it agreed to acquire Unilever Group’s Lawry’s business for $605 million, a move that would add wet marinades to McCormick’s dry spices.

Lawry’s, which includes seasoning blends and marinades under the Lawry’s and Adolph’s brand names, has annual sales of about $150 million.
