Give them time
Before the season started USC’s basketball team was ranked No. 18, based on incoming freshman class. With injuries to so many of the players counted on for this ranking, the team lost to Mercer and fell out of the top 25. So the pollsters that rated the Trojans based on their potential are now not taking into account the same potential when the players return.
Makes one glad that basketball championships are decided on the court and not by the polls.
