at Houston 35, Marshall 28: Case Keenum passed for two touchdowns and ran for another, and Anthony Alridge scored twice to lead the Cougars (7-4, 6-2) over the Thundering Herd (2-9, 2-5) and keep alive their hopes of winning C-USA’s West Division.
at Memphis 25, Alabama Birmingham 9: Joseph Doss rushed for 168 yards and a touchdown and Matt Reagan kicked four field goals as the Tigers (6-5, 5-2) became bowl-eligible with a victory over the Blazers (2-9, 1-5).
Tulane 45, at Rice 31: Matt Forte rushed for 194 yards to eclipse 2,000 for the season, and he scored five touchdowns to lead the Green Wave (4-7, 3-4) over the Owls (3-8, 3-4) in a C-USA game at Houston.
Southern Mississippi 56, at Texas El Paso 30: Damion Fletcher ran for 211 yards and three touchdowns and the Golden Eagles (6-5, 5-3) scored 42 second-half points in a C-USA win over the Miners (4-7, 2-5).
Tulsa 49, at Army 39: Paul Smith threw for 390 yards and the Golden Hurricane (8-3) totaled 622 yards of total offense in a victory over the Black Knights (3-8) at West Point, N.Y.
at Navy 35, Northern Illinois 24: Zerbin Singleton scored three touchdowns and the Midshipmen (7-4) got a solid effort from their defense in a victory over the Huskies (2-9) at Annapolis, Md.
at Western Kentucky 52, Morehead State 12: The Hilltoppers (7-4) forced the Eagles (7-4) into four turnovers, and ran up 382 yards of total offense in a victory at Bowling Green.
at Temple 24, Kent State 14: Daryl Robinson and Jason Harper combined for 133 rushing yards in the second half to lift the Owls (4-7, 3-3) over the Golden Flashes (3-8, 1-4) in a Mid-American Conference game at Philadelphia.
Bowling Green 31, at Buffalo 17: Tyler Sheehan threw two touchdown passes and caught a third on a 25-yard reverse pass from Anthony Turner as the Falcons (7-4, 5-2) beat the Bulls (4-7, 4-3) in a MAC game at Amherst, N.Y.
Louisiana Lafayette 38, at Florida International 28: Tyrell Fenroy rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Ragin’ Cajuns (3-8, 3-3) over the Golden Panthers (0-10, 0-5) in a Sun Belt Conference game at Miami.
