* No. 8 Virginia Tech 33, at No. 16 Virginia 21: Sean Glennon threw for 260 yards and the other half of the team’s quarterback rotation, Tyrod Taylor, ran for two touchdowns, to lead the Hokies (10-2, 7-1) over the Cavaliers (9-3, 6-2) at Charlottesville in the biggest game in the history of their rivalry. Virginia Tech’s victory clinched a spot in the ACC championship game. The Hokies also got a season-high 147 yards rushing from Branden Ore and six catches for 147 yards and a touchdown from Eddie Royal.

* at No. 15 Boston College 28, Miami 14: Matt Ryan threw for 369 yards and three touchdowns to send the Eagles (10-2, 6-2) into the ACC championship game by beating the Hurricanes (5-7, 2-6) for the first time since 1984 -- the year of the famous “Hail Flutie” pass that ended one of the greatest games in college football history. Boston College will play Virginia Tech for the conference title next Saturday in Jacksonville, Fla.

* No. 6 Georgia 31, at Georgia Tech 17: Matthew Stafford ran for one touchdown and threw for another, Thomas Brown rushed for 139 yards, and the Bulldogs (10-2) beat the Yellow Jackets (7-5) at Atlanta. Georgia lost out on a chance to play for the SEC title when Tennessee beat Kentucky earlier.

* at North Carolina 20, Duke 14 (OT): Greg Little ran for 154 yards and the winning 25-yard score in overtime to lead the Tar Heels (4-8, 3-5) over the Blue Devils (1-11, 0-8) at Chapel Hill.

* Maryland 37, at North Carolina State 0: Lance Ball and Keon Lattimore rushed for two touchdowns apiece to lead the Terrapins (6-6, 3-5) over the Wolfpack (5-7, 3-5) at Raleigh.
