South Florida (6-0) has won eight in a row. Central Florida (3-3) never recovered after turning the ball over three times in the first quarter.

* Louisville 28, at No. 15 Cincinnati 24: Brian Brohm threw three touchdown passes and made a gutsy, game-turning 51-yard completion at Cincinnati to rally the Cardinals (4-3, 1-1) past the Bearcats (6-1, 1-1).

* Rutgers 38, at Syracuse 14: Ray Rice ran for 196 yards and three touchdowns at Syracuse, N.Y., and the Scarlet Knights (4-2, 1-1) ended a two-game losing streak. The Orange fell to 1-6, 1-2.
