* at Toledo 70, Northern Illinois 21: Aaron Opelt threw four touchdown passes, Gordon Warner ran for three scores and the Rockets (4-5, 2-3 Mid-American) piled up a team-record 812 yards at Toledo, Ohio. It was the most yards by a Bowl Subdivision team this season. Toledo threw for 430 yards and ran for 382, amassed 35 first downs and averaged almost nine yards a play. Opelt completed 22 of 28 passes for 387 yards. Justin Anderson of Northern Illinois (1-8, 0-5) rushed for 116 yards in 24 carries and scored on a six-yard run.
* Memphis 28, at Tulane 27: Duke Calhoun caught a five-yard touchdown pass from Martin Hankins with 36 seconds left to give the Tigers (4-4, 3-1 Conference USA) the victory over the Green Wave (2-6, 1-3) at New Orleans. Tulane’s Matt Forte had his fourth consecutive 200-yard rushing game. He carried a team-record 44 times for 278 yards and two touchdowns.
* at East Carolina 41, Alabama Birmingham 6: Pat Pinkney passed for two third-quarter touchdowns, and the Pirates (5-4, 4-1 Conference USA) crushed the Blazers (2-6, 1-3) at Greenville, N.C..
* at Tulsa 29, Southern Methodist 23: Charles Clay caught a 51-yard touchdown pass from Paul Smith with 43 seconds remaining to lift the Golden Hurricane (5-3, 3-2 Conference USA) past the Mustangs (1-7, 0-4) at Tulsa, Okla. Tulsa went 99 yards in nine plays to score the winning touchdown.
* Delaware State 59, at Navy 52: Joe Flacco threw four touchdown passes, Omar Cuff rushed for four scores and the Blue Hens (7-1), one of the top teams in the Championship Subdivision (formerly I-AA), rolled up 581 total yards against the Midshipmen (4-4) at Annapolis, Md.
* at Buffalo 26, Akron 10: Drew Willy tied a career high with three touchdown passes as the Bulls (4-5, 4-1 Mid-American) defeated the Zips (3-5, 2-2) at Buffalo, N.Y.
* Central Michigan 41, at Kent State 32: Dan LeFevour passed for 359 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Chippewas (5-4, 4-0 Mid-American) past the Golden Flashes (3-6, 1-4) at Kent, Ohio. LeFevour completed 33 of 43 passes and had one interception.
* at Eastern Michigan 19, Western Michigan 2: Zach Johnson kicked two field goals and the Eagles (3-6, 2-2 Mid-American) forced six turnovers in a 19-2 victory over the Broncos (3-6, 2-3) at Ypsilanti. Pierre Walker ran for a career-best 151 yards in 33 carries for Eastern Michigan.
* Ohio 38, at Bowling Green 27: Kalvin McRae rushed for 200 yards and three touchdowns and Kris Luchsinger returned an interception 58 yards for a pivotal second-half score to lead the Bobcats (4-5, 2-3 Mid-American) to victory at Bowling Green, Ohio. Bowling Green dropped to 4-4, 2-2.
* Troy 27, at Arkansas State 0: Omar Haugabook scored two touchdowns to lead the Trojans (6-2, 5-0 Sun Belt) to victory at Jonesboro. Troy ended a three-game losing streak against Arkansas State (3-5, 1-3) and handed the Indians only their second home loss in their last 14 games.
