NBC hires Russert’s son
The Russert tradition is continuing on NBC News.
The network announced Thursday that it had hired Luke Russert, son of the late Tim Russert, to serve as a correspondent at large, starting at the two political conventions later this summer.
The recent Boston College graduate will focus on youth issues for NBC. He also co-hosts a sports talk show on XM Radio with James Carville.
