Not-guilty plea in Taser death

A former Winnfield police officer accused of repeatedly jolting a handcuffed man with a Taser before he died pleaded not guilty to manslaughter. Scott Nugent, 21, remains free on $45,000 bond. He faces up to 45 years in prison if convicted in the death of Baron Pikes, 21.
