Andre Johnson had one of the worst games of his career in Houston’s first meeting with Tennessee this season.

The receiver atoned for that performance with a career-high 207 yards and a touchdown to lead the Texans to their fourth consecutive victory, 13-12, over the Titans.

Kris Brown kicked two field goals for Houston.

It was an uninspired showing for the Titans (12-2), who have already clinched the AFC South title and a first-round bye, but could have secured home-field advantage throughout the playoffs with a win and a Pittsburgh loss. (The Steelers rallied to beat Baltimore, 13-9.)

The Texans (7-7) are shooting for the first winning season in franchise history. Sunday marked the first time they’ve won four in a row, and the victory snapped a seven-game losing streak to the Titans.

Quoteworthy: “They weren’t doing that well, but it was their Super Bowl and credit them for being the good team today.” -- Cortland Finnegan, Titans cornerback
