at Boston 100, Utah 91: Rajon Rondo scored 12 of his career-high 25 points in the final 5 minutes 20 seconds, and Kevin Garnett had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Celtics to their 15th straight victory. Paul Millsap scored a career-high 32 points and had 10 rebounds for Utah.

Denver 98, at Dallas 88: Reserve J.R. Smith scored 25 points, Carmelo Anthony had 23 and the Nuggets extended their winning streak to four games. Chauncey Billups had 15 points and eight assists for Denver, which is 16-4 since he joined the team in a Nov. 3 trade with Detroit. Dirk Nowitzki had 27 points for the Mavericks, who got forward Josh Howard back from an ankle injury that had sidelined him for 11 games.

Orlando 109, at Golden State 98: Jameer Nelson scored 23 of his career-high 32 points in the second half, and the Magic (19-6) won for the fourth time in five road games, despite the absence of injured center Dwight Howard. Marcin Gortat, starting in Howard’s place, had career bests of 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Milwaukee 98, at Miami 83: Michael Redd scored 16 of his 21 points in the first quarter, and the Bucks held off a late Heat rally to win on the road for the first time since Nov. 22 at Charlotte.

at Sacramento 118, Minnesota 103: Francisco Garcia scored 21 points and the Kings won their first game under interim Coach Kenny Natt, the veteran assistant who took over after Reggie Theus was fired earlier in the day.

New Jersey 94, at Toronto 87: Vince Carter had 20 points and 10 rebounds, and Devin Harris scored 16 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter for the Nets, who broke a three-game losing streak. The Raptors have lost seven of nine.

at Atlanta 83, Charlotte 79: Joe Johnson scored 18 of his 28 points in the second half for the Hawks, who won their third in a row, improved to 9-1 at home and handed the Bobcats their seventh consecutive loss.

Indiana 118, at Washington 98: Danny Granger scored 27 points for the Pacers, who broke a six-game losing streak. The Wizards have lost six of seven and are 4-18, the worst record in the Eastern Conference.
