LOVESICK
Many a person has looked back upon a relationship and wondered, “What was I thinking?” But in his Oppenheimer award-winning play “The Flu Season,” opening Saturday at [Inside] the Ford, author Will Eno takes this reflective impulse to dizzying existential heights. Set in a psychiatric hospital, “Season” follows a romance between two patients from first meeting through devastating breakup, with each stage commented upon by a pair of observers, Prologue (the optimist) and Epilogue (the pessimist). Pictured: Jamey Hood and Tim Wright. Opens 8 p.m. Sat., runs 8 p.m. Thu.-Sat.; 2 and 7 p.m. Sun., ends March 29. 2580 Cahuenga Blvd. E. $20. (323) 461-3673; www.fordtheatres.org
