Regarding Brendan Mullen [Overrated, Dec. 13]:

Loved your article. As a sidelight, Mullen used to work for me at Club Lingerie!

When he launched into one of his famous boring speeches in our office, I would either point out that he was pontificating, or if it was really boring, I would accuse him of “mental masturbation.” Both points used to upset him greatly.

I see he hasn’t changed!
