HP chief was paid $25 million in ’07

Hewlett-Packard Co. Chief Executive Mark Hurd, who led the world’s largest personal computer maker to record sales last year, received $25.3 million in salary and other compensation in 2007.

Hurd got $1.44 million in salary and bonuses and non-stock compensation totaling $13.3 million, Palo Alto-based Hewlett-Packard said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Hurd also received stock and options valued at about $9.96 million, according to the filing.
