Help sought in identifying body
The Los Angeles County coroner’s office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man found dead in the San Fernando Valley.
Coroner’s officials said the man was stabbed to death. His body was dumped shortly after midnight June 7 in the 9100 block of Bartee Avenue in Arleta. Officials described the man as a Latino between 25 and 35 years of age, about 5 feet 6 and weighing 165 pounds.
Officials said he has an old diagonal scar on the right side of his lips.
He was wearing a white metal ring with a red stone on his left ring finger. Anyone with information can call the coroner identification unit at (323) 343-0754.
