Gangs glorified
Re “Murder trial exposes gang intrigue, greed,” June 29
What were you thinking by giving this “Dead Presidents” article so much prominence? When Los Angeles and many other counties are having huge gang-related problems, why glorify this story? This only makes the perpetrators and victims appear to be heroic in the eyes of gang members who will try their best to emulate their peers. The Times just doesn’t get it.
