Re “Yanks, but on another team,” June 29

The United States of America is a nation made up of people with many different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Our cultural differences are what make us great.

My mind agrees with the right of American athletes to compete in the Olympics for a foreign country if they want to. But my heart says to citizens such as Giovanni Lanaro (who was born, raised and educated in the U.S): “Get out and stay out. Wave your Mexican flag in Mexico!”
