* at San Antonio 81, New Jersey 70: Tim Duncan had 29 points and 12 rebounds, leading the Spurs to their 10th straight victory in beating the Nets for the second time in three days. The Spurs surged ahead on an 18-1 run spanning the second and third quarters.

* Phoenix 97, at Portland 92: Amare Stoudemire scored 22 points and the Suns lost all but two points of a 23-point lead before prevailing to end a two-game losing streak and improve to 3-4 with Shaquille O’Neal (six points and 13 rebounds). Portland got within, 83-81, with 7:41 left.

* Golden State 135, at Atlanta 118: Baron Davis scored 35 points and Stephen Jackson had 29 as the Warriors reached a season high for points in their fourth straight victory. Golden State improved to 16-12 on the road, its most victories away from Oakland since 1993-94.

* at Detroit 100, Seattle 97: Tayshaun Prince scored 24 points, Chauncey Billups added 20 points and nine assists, and the Pistons overcame a 13-point first-quarter deficit. Seattle shot 82% in the first quarter but that fell to 32% in the final three periods in its seventh straight loss to Detroit.

* at Orlando 102, Toronto 87: Hedo Turkoglu scored 24 points and Dwight Howard had 16 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter, including six straight in a 1:10 stretch that put the game out of reach. Howard also had 14 rebounds in helping hand the Raptors their third straight loss.

* Charlotte 109, at Minnesota 89: Jason Richardson had 25 points and eight rebounds, Emeka Okafor added 19 points and 11 boards, and the Hornets ended a nine-game road losing streak. Charlotte made 23 of 29 free throws to Minnesota’s five of nine.

* at Chicago 112, Memphis 97: Drew Gooden and Luol Deng scored 21 points apiece, helping send the Grizzlies to their ninth straight loss. Gooden also had 14 rebounds. The Bulls scored 13 straight to turn a nine-point advantage into a 54-32 lead late in the second quarter.

* Lakers 117, at Sacramento 105: Kobe Bryant scored 17 of his 34 points in the fourth quarter and Pau Gasol added 31 points and 10 rebounds to help drop the Kings to 0-8 against Pacific Division opponents.
