It’s too bad ports can’t sail away
Your article about the West Coast ports losing business to other ports is music to my ears. (“West Coast ports have sinking feeling,” March 5.)
Many of us who live near the twin beasts of the ports of L.A. and Long Beach would love to see expansion stop and go backward, if possible. The ports use “fuzzy green” math to justify deadly expansion.
Let’s pray they stop growing and stop lying to us about the health hazards of living near them.
