* at Orlando 123, Atlanta 112: Dwight Howard had 26 points and 16 rebounds and Hedo Turkoglu had the second triple-double of his career. Turkoglu had 23 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds as the Magic tied its season-high scoring output.

* Boston 100, at Philadelphia 86: Kevin Garnett had 26 points and 12 rebounds to help the Celtics reach 50 victories for the first time in 16 years. The Celtics opened with a 15-0 run, won their ninth straight game and reached the 50-win mark for the first time since they finished the 1991-92 season 51-31.

* at Cleveland 88, Portland 80: LeBron James had 24 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists to record his seventh triple-double of the season. Joe Smith, playing in place of Ben Wallace, who sat out the second half because of back spasms, scored 12 of his 18 points in the second half.

* at San Antonio 107, Denver 103: Tim Duncan had 23 points and 18 rebounds, and Manu Ginobili scored 13 and had a career-high 14 assists for the Spurs. The Nuggets beat San Antonio in Denver on Friday, ending the Spurs’ season-high 11-game winning streak.

* at Dallas 108, New York 79: Dirk Nowitzki scored 18 points in 22 minutes, then was among four starters who got to take the last quarter off. Wins don’t get much easier than this, with the Mavericks scoring 32 points in the first quarter and the Knicks scoring 31 in the first half.

* at Houston 91, New Jersey 73: Tracy McGrady scored 19 points in less than three quarters and the Rockets won their 19th game in a row.

* Clippers 99, at Miami 98: Cuttino Mobley made two free throws with 2.6 seconds left and scored 29 points for the Clippers, who won for only the second time in their last 10 games.
