The Pistons shot 63% on their way to a 34-point first quarter, then went five for seven on three-point attempts in a 39-point second quarter.

Phoenix 111, at Portland 98: Amare Stoudemire scored 25 points, Shaquille O’Neal had 16 points and 14 rebounds and the Suns have won five in a row for the first time since early December. Phoenix pulled away with a 21-7 run beginning late in the third quarter.

at Sacramento 122, Golden State 105: Kevin Martin scored 34 points, Ron Artest had 26 and the Kings led by as many as 23 points in stopping the Warriors, who remained 1 1/2 games ahead of Denver for the final Western Conference playoff spot.

Lakers 102, at Dallas 100: The Lakers barely held on after leading by 25 points midway through the third quarter in dropping the Mavericks to 0-6 against teams with winning records since acquiring Jason Kidd.
