Microsoft not in talks with Yahoo

Microsoft Corp. isn’t interested in acquiring Yahoo Inc., even after Yahoo Chief Executive Jerry Yang said the Internet company was willing to sell.

There are no talks between the firms, a Microsoft spokesperson said.

The software maker said it still stood by a statement last month that it “has no interest in acquiring Yahoo.”
