On strike against cancellation
THERE IS credibility to the idea that the writers strike would contribute to a difficult new season of TV offerings [“A Stretch of a Season” by Scott Collins, Sept. 14].
Last season’s “Back to You” with Patricia Heaton and Kelsey Grammer was destined for success -- how could it be otherwise with such chemistry? I congratulated myself on having the prescience to record it, only to find it canceled.
Because of my disappointment in the industry, I have gone on a viewers strike.
