at Phoenix 114, Houston 109: Steve Nash had 25 points and 17 assists to help the Suns end a losing streak at three games and remain four games behind Dallas for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference, with seven games to play. Ron Artest scored 28 points for the Rockets, who dropped to fourth in the West.
at Dallas 98, Miami 96: Dirk Nowitzki scored 30 points and Josh Howard had 20 points and drew a game-saving foul with 2.3 seconds left. The Heat led by 11 points late in the third quarter and was up by four points with several minutes left. But a series of bad possessions ruined it for Miami, which lost to Dallas for the 10th consecutive time in the regular season.
Toronto 99, at Orlando 95: Chris Bosh had 24 points, including a 22-foot basket over Dwight Howard with 29 seconds left that put the game out of reach and extended the Raptors’ winning streak to a season-high five games. Howard had 30 points.
at New Jersey 111, Detroit 98: Devin Harris had 19 points and 11 assists, and the Nets’ losing streak ended at a season-high five games. Keyon Dooling scored 18 of his 23 points for the Nets in the second half.
at Memphis 112, Washington 107: Rudy Gay scored 25 points and the Grizzlies won at home for the first time since the All-Star break. Caron Butler had 31 points for the Wizards, who lost their third game in a row.
at Golden State 143, Sacramento 141 (OT): Monta Ellis scored a career-high 42 points for the Warriors, who won in overtime despite a career-high 50-point effort by the Kings’ Kevin Martin. Golden State ended its losing streak at five games.
New Orleans 104, at Clippers 98: Chris Paul had 30 points and 14 assists to help the Hornets move closer to the top of the Southwest Division.
Lakers 104, at Milwaukee 98: Kobe Bryant made his first seven shots and finished with 30 points.
