Ousted Gov. Rod R. Blagojevich has pleaded not guilty to federal racketeering and fraud charges. “I’m glad this process has finally begun,” the impeached former governor said after he and his brother, Robert, were arraigned. The charges against Blagojevich, 52, include attempting to sell the Senate seat vacated by President Obama.
