FEEDBACK
Great article on the “smart drama, often with a woman in charge” [“Bye, Tough Guy,” April 19].
Despite my skepticism that gentle dramas about a shrink’s patients and a lady detective in Botswana could hold our attention, we’re hooked on “In Treatment” and “The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency.”
What a welcome relief from the cruel, misogynistic, mean-spirited story lines coming our way week after week.
Gives us hope that good storytelling is making a strong fight against violence, cruelty and the denigration of women.
Thanks for giving these shows the attention they deserve.
