Santacon 2009
You better watch out, you’d better not cry because before Christmas turns to the actual guy, a whole mob of revelers in Santa costumes will descend upon an unsuspecting city with Santacon 2009. An annual day of carousing and merrymaking operating under the nicely naughty mandate to be “loud, obnoxious and jolly,” these probably aren’t the sort of Santas you’d trust with eight tiny reindeer. But they’re bound to make spirits bright with bawdy caroling, a sleigh parade and free hugs. Starting in downtown L.A. (location to be announced Friday) and continuing along Metro Rail lines. Sat., 11 a.m.-midnight. Information and tickets available at www.heathervescent.com/santacon.
