AT NASHVILLE

Time: 5 PST.

On the air: TV: Prime. Radio: 830.

Where: at Sommet Center.

Record: Ducks 26-23-5; Predators 23-24-3.

Record vs. Wild: 0-1.

Update: The Ducks’ red-hot power play, responsible for a goal in nine consecutive games, went kaput against Minnesota, finishing 0 for 5. If that was an aberration, the Ducks continued their habit of falling behind and not affording goaltender Jonas Hiller much protection. They allowed the first goal for the seventh consecutive game, and both goals Hiller allowed were the result of Minnesota players skating unencumbered in front of the net. The Ducks acquired right wing Mike Brown from Vancouver in exchange for defenseman Nathan McIver. Brown joined the team but did not play. Nashville has killed off 34 of its last 35 power-play chances at home. Center Jason Arnott leads the Predators with 17 goals.
