Electricity producer Calpine Corp., which exited bankruptcy 13 months ago, said its fourth-quarter loss narrowed as sales beat estimates.
The net loss was $109 million, or 22 cents a share, compared with a loss of $142 million, or 30 cents, a year earlier, Calpine, based in San Jose and Houston, said in a filing. Sales rose 2.3% to $1.97 billion.
