I am going to tell you about the story of spring and the friendship of a frog and a toad. Frog runs up the path to toad’s house. He knocks on the front door. Now I told you a little bit about the story. What do I like about the story? It is when Frog rips off the pages of Toad’s calendar all the way up to May. Why would he do that? When you read the book you will see that part and understand everything.

“The Tale of Despereaux”

As soon as Despereaux, a tiny mouse, is able to learn, his brother Furlough tries to teach him to scurry like a mouse. Despereaux doesn’t even try. When his sister Merlot teaches him how to nibble on the outside pages on a book, he reads the book.

Now this is bad. Despereaux goes to the Princess Pea’s room where the king is playing the guitar. Despereaux sits on the king’s foot. Furlough happens to be watching him. He reports to dad, then his dad has to tell it to the Wise Mouse.
