Orioles rally from 3-0 deficit with five in the ninth

Baltimore 5, at Seattle 3: The Orioles took advantage of two errors by second baseman Jose Lopez and rallied for five runs in the ninth inning to beat the Mariners. Entering the ninth with a 3-0 lead, closer David Aardsma (2-3) blew his second save in 19 chances.

at Tampa Bay 10, Toronto 9: All-Star Ben Zobrist hit a three-run homer and had a game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning.

at Detroit 3, Kansas City 1: Rookie Lucas French, in his second career start, outdueled Zack Greinke (10-5). French (1-0) held the Royals to one run and six hits in 6 1/3 innings.

New York 4, at Minnesota 3: A.J. Burnett (8-4) won his third straight start for the Yankees. Joe Mauer drove in two runs for the Twins and became eligible for the AL batting race, which he now leads at .388.

at Chicago 5, Cleveland 1: Jose Contreras gave up one run over 6 1/3 innings, Jermaine Dye had three RBIs and the surging White Sox got their 16th victory in the last 22 games.

Texas 8, at Angels 1: Andruw Jones hit three homers, then missed two chances for four.
