Residuals: A June 11 editorial about the newly signed Screen Actors Guild contract was incomplete in stating that the studios’ latest contracts with the talent unions “left ... residuals intact, albeit less generous.” Residuals were not reduced in the new agreements; “less generous” referred to newly created residuals for television shows streamed online that are minuscule in comparison with those paid for reruns on TV.
