President Obama hit 100 this week, but cartoonists didn’t exactly bat 1,000. Besides the century markers, and the specter of a weakened GOP, the pandemic of flu-ridden swine cartoons was pure torture. Fortunately, some of us focused on other global misfortunes, or make that msfortunes. Mike Keefe suggested a veiled attempt to cover up Pakistani missiles. David Horsey revealed a startling contrast between faux femininity and famine. And Steve Sack sympathized with a checkmated female journalist.
