Update: The Kings have lost two consecutive games and Coach Terry Murray told reporters he may make lineup changes against Carolina. That could include giving backup goaltender Erik Ersberg his second start this season in place of Jonathan Quick, who allowed three third-period goals Monday in a 4-1 loss to Chicago. Murray also said he might play defenseman Randy Jones for the first time since the Kings claimed him Oct. 29 from Philadelphia on re-entry waivers. Carolina is winless in its last 12 games and the team expects to be without goaltender Cam Ward for at least a month after part of his left leg was cut by a skate Saturday against Columbus.
