Tax chart: A chart accompanying an article in the Aug. 5 Business section about the expiration this year of Bush-era tax cuts contained incorrect information. The chart indicated that, under the Obama plan, couples filing jointly would fall into the 15% tax bracket for 2011 if their income was $17,151 to $58,200, and in the 25% tax bracket if from $58,201 to $140,600. The correct amount for the 15% tax bracket in that category is income between $17,151 and $69,700, and the 25% tax bracket is between $69,701 and $140,600.

Huntington’s disease: In Tuesday’s Sports section, Bill Dwyre’s column on UCLA basketball Coach Ben Howland’s involvement with battling Huntington’s disease identified Michael Levine as chairman of UCLA’s neurology department. Levine, a professor of psychiatry and biobehavorial sciences, is chairman of the university’s neuroscience graduate program. John Mazziotta is chairman of UCLA’s neurology department.

Jack Klugman lawsuit: A Quick Takes item in the Aug. 7 Calendar section about the resolution of Jack Klugman’s lawsuit against Universal City Studios over profits from his TV series “Quincy, M.E.” said that the studio had given the actor an accounting statement showing the series lost $66 million from 1998 through 2006. In fact, the lawsuit said that figure was represented as the show’s “cumulative total net loss,” with net losses of $16.5 million listed between 1998 and 2006.

English artisans: An article in the July 25 Travel section about the arts scene in England’s Cotswolds region said that Lechlade was southwest of Cheltenham. Actually, Lechlade is southeast of Cheltenham.

David L. Wolper obituary: The obituary of TV documentary producer David L. Wolper in Thursday’s Section A said that the opening ceremony of the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles that Wolper staged included 84 pianists in white tuxedos playing “Rhapsody in Blue.” The pianists wore baby blue topcoats with tails.
