Demons: A battle of epic proportions looms as Quincey (Ciaran McMenamin), a charismatic bad-boy vampire from Mina’s (Zoe Tapper) past, returns, prompting a sharp change in her behavior as he tries to seduce her into giving in to her half-blood heritage. Philip Glenister and Christian Cooke also star in this new episode (6 and 9 p.m. BBC America).

48 Hours Mystery: This new episode investigates a historic murder mystery in Las Vegas that involves sex, drugs and greed (10 p.m. CBS).

16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards: Actors honor their peers in the annual ceremony, which takes place at the Shrine Exposition Center. The casts of “The Closer,” “Dexter,” “The Good Wife,” “Mad Men” and “True Blood” are up for outstanding ensemble performance in a drama, and the casts of “30 Rock,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Glee,” “Modern Family” and “The Office” are nominated for comedy (8 p.m. TBS and TNT).

Making “Michael Jackson’s This Is It”: This new special takes viewers behind the scenes of the making of the behind-the-scenes documentary (10 p.m. VH1).

Twilight: Director Catherine Hardwicke’s appropriately moody adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s popular book series casts Kristen Stewart as Bella, whose adjustment to a new high school encompasses her attraction to the magnetic Edward (Robert Pattinson) -- a vampire, as she soon learns (8 p.m. Showtime).

The Pregnancy Pact: Did a group of teenage girls in Gloucester, Mass., set out to get pregnant at the same time? Depends on whom you ask. This new TV drama, based on the story, stars Thora Birch as a journalist who returns to her old high school to investigate the pregnancy spike. Camryn Manheim plays the school nurse, who’s lobbying for the school to offer contraception, and Nancy Travis plays a conservative leader whose own daughter is pregnant (9 p.m. Lifetime).
