Update: In the teams’ last meeting, on May 22, forward DeLisha Milton-Jones led all players with 20 points in an 88-81 loss. Jones — and a few others — will need to step up in hopes of ending the Sparks’ four-game losing streak. The team has yet to find itself without forward Candace Parker (shoulder) and guard Betty Lennox (knee), though the emergence of guard Marie Ferdinand-Harris, who has averaged 10.3 points per game since Parker’s injury, could solve one piece of the puzzle.
