Up next for the Ducks: Friday at Edmonton
AT EDMONTON
When: 6 PDT.
Where: Rexall Place.

Update: Ryan Getzlaf’s sore left ankle will be reevaluated at Friday’s morning skate and he remains day to day. The Ducks center, who suffered a high left ankle sprain days before the Olympics, had to leave Wednesday night’s game after tweaking the ankle when his left leg was caught under a falling Henrik Sedin of the Vancouver Canucks. The Oilers, the only team mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, will be going for four in a row while the Ducks will be looking to halt a two-game losing streak. The Ducks signed a multiyear affiliation agreement with the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League beginning in the 2010-11 season.
