Update: After losing five of six games, Kings Coach Terry Murray reconfigured three of his lines. Besides moving Wayne Simmonds up to right wing and moving Dustin Brown to the left of center Anze Kopitar on a new top line, Murray assembled a new third line of Kyle Clifford, Michal Handzus and Trevor Lewis and moved Dwight King from the first line to the fourth line with Brad Richardson and Kevin Westgarth. The Kings are 8-1-0 at home and can match the best 10-game home start in club history. The 1992-93 team was 9-1-0 in its first 10 home games and won its next three home games. The defending Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks, forced to make dramatic changes because of salary cap issues, are 3-2 with one game left on their annual circus trip.
