‘Absinthe’ roars into seventh year with new acts
While “Opium” offers a truly out-of-this-world experience, returning audiences will discover something new to enjoy over at “Absinthe.” The show recently extended its performance schedule and added several new acts to its lauded lineup. Included is an oddly sensual burlesque number involving a dancing gorilla and the limber Silicon Valley Girls, who perform jaw-dropping gymnastic feats. Mollison credits the show’s ability to expand to enthusiastic crowds. “The audiences are just incredible. The roof comes off of ‘Absinthe’ half a dozen times a night. You don’t get that [enthusiasm] in the West End.” Tickets: spiegelworld.com
