A-Rod sells Miami estate for $30 million
Major-league slugger Alex Rodriguez has hit another one out of the park -- this time selling his estate for $30 million in one of the biggest sales on record in Miami Beach.
The modern-style home features extensive glass, coral rock and sleek white oak floors. The gated estate has views of the Miami skyline and Biscayne Bay, two docks and 275 feet of waterfront. The 19,861 square feet of living space include a home theater, nine bedrooms, 11 full bathrooms and two half-bathrooms.
Grandest pool around? Malibu has it
There is an infinity edge swimming pool, an outdoor kitchen, a rooftop deck, a detached gym and a four-car garage. A 3,000-square-foot sports room, sauna and steam room, as well as a guesthouse also stand on the more than one-acre property.
A-Rod, as the 37-year-old New York Yankee is known, plays third base and shortstop. He has broken multiple records for his home-run hitting and is in the midst of a 10-year, $275-million contract signed with the Yankees.
Mayi de la Vega and Arlene Susy Dunand of ONE Sotheby’s represented Rodriquez in the sale.
