DJ Khaled seeks buyer for decked-out waterfront home in Miami
DJ Khaled is back in the housing game.
A few months after dropping $21.75 million on a Miami Beach mansion, the hip-hop producer is now looking to part with his old place in the area. The waterfront home is on the market for a dollar shy of $8 million.
Set in the gated community of Island Estates, the custom pad showcases Khaled’s flashy touch. A 14-karat gold chandelier with Swarovski crystals hangs from a 30-foot ceiling in the foyer, and off the master suite, a sneaker closet is emblazoned with the words “We the Best.”
Within some 6,700 square feet of living space are five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a movie theater, a wood-paneled office and a formal dining room. The chef’s kitchen and living room take in clear views of the waterway. A spiral staircase and elevator navigate each of the home’s three levels.
Marble and walnut floors alternate throughout the interior. Purple finishes and a chandelier accent the master suite, which expands to a lounge and veranda.
The half-acre grounds also hold a fire pit, grill, swimming pool, spa and separate parking for cars and golf carts. On the property’s edge, perks of waterfront living: 240 feet of frontage and a 50-foot boat dock.
Janet Ben Zvi of One Sotheby’s International Realty holds the listing.
Khaled, 43, has released 10 studio albums and boasts collaborations with Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Drake and Kanye West. He became an internet sensation in recent years for his motivational posts in which he details the “keys to success.”
Before he bought the mansion in Miami, he shelled out $9.9 million for the French Normandy-style home of British singer-songwriter Robbie Williams in 2017.
